Graduating from Hatfield Polytechnic in 1991 with a HND in computer science was the first step of my journey.  17 years later I formed GoActive Software which will start to fulfil my passion in helping Small to Medium sized Enterprises be successful, helping them harness their full potential on the World Wide Web.

 

My career started back at my birthplace Grimsby where I worked for a local software house creating software applications for the food and seed industries. This 9 year period included working for blue-chip clients like Weetabix, Ross/Young’s, Nickerson Seeds and Tozer Seeds.

 

In 2001 I joined the Added Value Solutions team creating software for a network of 250+ accountants. The company prides its self on Michael Gerber key messages of creating systems that run your business so you can focus on your business, valuing the team and maintaining extraordinary customer support. Within my 8 years I not only enhanced my technical abilities but also learnt maintaining high-principle core values is the road to success. Technically my abilities grew with the World Wide Web developing websites, desktop applications and offering high levels of support. Personally I also gained so much knowledge from AVN while also creating great friendships. I was sad to leave.

 

GoActive Software the company is young, the expertise is deep and my passion is plenty. As it grows it will follow high levels of core moral values, honesty and enthusiasm. This will stand the company in good stead.
